About Us

After 30 years as an equine veterinarian, I find myself semi-retired with a small business - still producing horse and dog gear as well as owning a small artisan coffee roasting business. As a long time “Closet Prepper”, I have been thinking about making this website for many years. With all of us finding ourselves “whacked”, almost overnight, by a global pandemic … suddenly our our world was changed in so many ways. I am finally developing this site to offer useful gear for “Working the Problem” of “Being ready and Safe” in your everyday encounters as well as when the unexpected happens. And, since we can, I also offer our premium fresh roasted coffees as well. Check back often - the site is growing and much more is coming…
